“Ah,” Ignis says simply, “I’m sorry, that must have been difficult to discover.”
Noct shrugs, though his general demeanour and the fact he bothered to bring it up undermines his wish to appear nonchalant about it.
“When did he tell you?” Ignis asks, “I’m surprised, it must be new. He’s usually so open about things.”
“He didn’t,” Noct says.Alternatively: Noctis overhears Prompto telling his new work friends about a boyfriend Noct didn’t even know existed and suffers accordingly.
