Katsuki can't stop thinking about the conversation in the car and how much he wished he had shut up. With a fucked up sleep schedule due to the overthinking, he ends up dialing Shoto to fall asleep. Things develop from that.

The winter internship with Endeavor was supposed to be about control. About mastering Flashfire. About proving to himself that he could stand in his father's shadow without burning.
Shoto Todoroki did not account for Bakugo Katsuki.
He did not account for the way Bakugo -- stubborn, fever-prone, impossible Bakugo -- would start hovering near Endeavor like a moth drawn to a flame he'd never admit he needed. He did not account for the quiet way his father would adjust his stance to block the wind, or the way his hand would linger a second too long on Bakugo's shoulder after a training session.
And he certainly did not account for the hot, ugly thing that coiled in his chest every time he watched it happen.
It's not jealousy, he tells himself.
It's not.

Then decides that he doesn't like what he eventually becomes, so he jail breaks his nine older brothers and absconds with them into the wilderness to start a homefarm and enjoy the good life. Meanwhile, civil war happens between the big 3 in jujutsu world because it turns out Noritoshi Kamo did succeed in creating an answer to the Zenin's Ten Shadow and the Gojo's Six Eyes + Limitless combo. It just so happens that his masterpiece is going through what they call teenage rebellion.
Written because I am unconvinced by Modulo's solution to the curse problem.

After all, feelings change, and everyone has done a lot of growing up.
Maybe Tooru wasn’t the villain he thought he was back in his childhood; just a broken fifteen-year-old, shrouded by jealousy and self-doubt. The person that helps him realize that? The mere kid he thankfully never actually hit.
