Summary
Years after dropping out of med school and pursuing sex work to stay afloat in Pittsburgh, Dennis found himself as a rut specialist in the Pitt. The last thing the omega expected from his new job was to grow a raging crush on the alpha Chief of Emergency Medicine. By chance, Dennis stumbled upon Robby outside of the hospital and into a loving, passionate romance.
The young man was pale and slick with sweat, hips absently humping the air as he sobbed.
Dennis approached fearlessly. His backpack fell to the floor and he sat on the edge of the bed. One wrist was brought to Lucas' nose, while the other ran through his oily hair. "Hey, it's alright. Shh, it's okay, Lucas. Breathe for me," Dennis gently soothed. The warm scent of citrus and jasmine filled the room, calming all three of them.
It was intimate, and Robby was ashamed of the surge of jealousy in his gut. Despite being strangers, it was obvious Dennis actually cared about the alpha suffering. When was the last time someone cooed at him like that? Who was the last to comfort him with their sweet scent? He ground his teeth in spite of the pheromones of an unmated omega trying to make him melt.

Summary

Summary
Trinity Santos didn’t expect to take in a stray on her first shift, let alone three. Who knew that the man she spent all shift teasing, even deeming him a fitting nickname of ‘Huckleberry’, was living in the hospital? Who knew that the unhoused Huckleberry also had two infant daughters? It was a lot to wrap her head around, but even then, she took them in like a couple of stray kittens.
Unfortunately for Dennis, his secret life was unraveled and revealed a day into his emergency medicine rotation. At least it was just to one person, and not the entire hospital. Who knew his hidden life would be brought to light just a few days later, while he and Trinity were at work? Who knew that after the expose, Michael Robinavitch, who already had a soft spot for Whitaker, would grow further in his feelings?
Who knew that family didn’t entirely need to be made out of blood?

This will be an overall fluffy fic focusing on the relationship between Jack, Dennis and Robby. There will be sex, depiction of trans bodies and suicidal ideation/thoughts, PTSD and vague mentions of transphobia and religious trauma. Abbot always remembered the wounded man he'd picked up in the Desert. A British soldier who had escaped captivity. He’d helped nurse him to health. And soon the two became entangled.
Robby always wondered what happened to the man, he just disappeared one day. Abbot wished he didn’t know what happened to the Brit.
So when a med student appeared looking like the man they both lost it’s too good to be true.
Dennis just wants to die. Hopefully when he’s not undead. So why does he have to spend this last hurrah tortured by the only people he’s ever loved.

The well-known quote Dennis murmured was somehow louder than any scream the two had heard in their entire lifetime.
They were both still, their breathing heavy, when Dennis straightened his back, hands bracing the edge of the counter as he glanced at Jack and Robby’s direction.
“I am the angry man in our house,” Dennis confessed, his smile sad, and the look in his eyes had the two on the cusp of crumbling to their knees.

Dennis slumps back into his chair, seceding silently, eyes glossing. Robby pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration.
“Jesus, I— Forget it. I can’t talk to you when you’re like this.” Robby tells him, pulling his jacket from the back of his chair. “Go home, delete our chat history. This never happened. Don’t ever tell a soul about this.”
Dennis laughs mirthlessly.
Robby is not amused. He zips up his jacket and leans down a little closer to the boy.
“I’m not fucking around, Whitaker. This stays between us. You need to take this to your grave.”

After a particularly prolonged dry spell, Dennis Whitaker decides to redownload Grindr.
