Summary
The Olympian gods have a history of making monumentally bad decisions and not learning from their mistakes. Of course that'll come back to bite them, and everyone seems to think Percy will be the one doing the biting. Thing is, he's tired and just wants to live a normal life. Too bad literally no one believes him except his friends, and now he has to survive the consequences of yet another one those monumentally bad decisions.

Tartarus nearly destroyed Percy the first time, in more ways than one. It's worse the second time. So much worse. And this time, he has no way out. He desperately clings to the one thing he knows without a doubt: 'I have to stay alive for when Annabeth comes for me'. Because she will.xXx

Summary
A smile forms on his face as he gazes at the photo of Annabeth. He pasted it right in the middle of the page, front and centre. Once again, he traces a gentle finger over her small, lithe frame. He takes her in entirely- dyed hair, brown eyes, brilliant smile. That’s probably the best thing about the picture. It’s not often Annabeth smiles. Whenever she does, it feels… precious. Like it’s something worth treasuring.

“Right, so, Medusa on Saturday…” Percy hedges, when Luke clears his throat. Percy whips his head around, feeling caught out for some reason - he almost forgot Luke was there.
“Guys, what is this?” Luke asks incredulously.
“What?” they say at the same time. Jinx.
“When did you turn into an old married couple?”
Um. Percy’s brain short circuits.
Him and Annabeth? He knows they’ve gotten closer since the Tunnel of Love - it’s kind of hard not to when you’ve already tried to sacrifice yourself for the other like, twice, in the span of four days. But he thinks “married couple” is an exaggeration - Luke is probably just being protective because Annabeth is his little sister. That must be it.
“Not to change the subject, but I’m gonna-”
Or: Percy is oblivious, Annabeth is exasperated, and everyone knows they’re in love (except them). (1x06)
