He joins a community called The Boneyard, and with them wants to help the rest of the Wasteland...
If only there wasn't the Raiders led by some very...handsome men to contend with.

Benoit Blanc has not had a big case in a long while and is hoping for anything that might alleviate the monotony. Luckily the wife of a now dead real estate exec has come to him for help, as she suspects that there might have been foul play in the death and that she might now be in danger.
CW: This story is a murder mystery, so there is a lot of candid discussions of death and some descriptions of dead bodies, murders and attempted murders, etc. There are also some allusions to suicide, though they are brief and not too in-depth.

Summary
It is a truth, universally acknowledged, that a gentleman who is about to inherit a duchy must be in want of a wife. But Stede Bonnet is no typical gentleman. He has no care for women at all. Still, his father insists that he must choose a bride by the end of the social season, or he will be forced to marry and produce heirs with the bride chosen for him. Disgusted, Stede agrees to try to find a woman he can live with.
But at the first ball of the season, the women are so vapid - and so not male - that he can't bear the thought of marrying any of them. So he runs away from the ball, looking to escape, and finds himself in a pub owned by a gorgeous ex pirate, who retired from the sea due to an injury...

Summary

One day, while checking the classifieds for parts for his boat, Ed finds an ad about an alpha for sale. On a whim, he calls and finds himself with an alpha of his own in the next three hours. Stede is not what he was expecting, but there’s something about the sweet, most likely traumatized alpha that makes Ed want to keep him, even if it’s just to make sure he’s finally taken care of.

Summary
Stede Bonnet, modern day wealthy vice president of his father’s company, tires of his monotonous life of commuting from the hustle of the city to the cookie cutter suburbs and dreams of a peaceful life on a New Zealand sheep farm. However, because he has absolutely no idea what he is doing, he must hire a crew of unique and lovable farm hands.
Things did not go as planned…This uses season 1 of OFMD as a base but sets it in modern times. We tried to capture the vibe of the show without rehashing it. Quotes used but not in the same context as the show, just as little nods. We do venture into a "season 2" that we made up ourselves. There is sexual content.

Stede Bonnet and Edward Teach both come from entirely different backgrounds but each long for an Ornis Bird, a creature containing their counterparts heart and soul. Supposedly the bird will guide you to your other half but getting to that point can take a lot of work and nothing is ever guaranteed.

As mid-life crises went, Stede thought, his was perhaps more dramatic than most of the guys he knew. Some of his cohort from his school days had taken up exciting new hobbies like windsurfing. A few of the single blokes found themselves new and much younger girlfriends. The Badminton boys had, notably, purchased matching Lamborghinis for themselves which they shared social media photos of with obnoxious frequency. Stede, on the other hand….
Well. Perhaps ‘dramatic’ was underselling it a bit. None of the people Stede knew had come out of the closet, amicably divorced their very relieved spouse, disavowed their inheritance, and gotten their first real job.OR
Stede discovers that waiting tables isn't actually that easy, especially when he keeps getting distracted by the head chef, Ed. Comedy, cooking advice, food porn and actual porn ensue.

Then, I was explaining the concept of Utah's soda shop culture on the Our Flag Means Brainrot Discord server, and I realized how much Edward "dollop of milk and seven sugars" Teach would love these absurdly sugary and caffeinated drinks.Series
