Summary
The quiet room erupts with chatter, and students start to leave the room. A sense of dread and anxiety begins to ball up in Euijoo's gut. Euijoo hasn't had the best experiences with group projects because, somehow, he always ends up doing most of the work.
Euijoo closes his laptop and looks toward Nicholas's direction, their eyes meeting when Nicholas also looks toward him. Nicholas's expression is sharp, and his eyes are fierce, all softening when his friend starts talking to him. He watches the two of them leave.
Anyone but him.

Summary
Whatever this is- it’s not them. It’s never been them. But as Nicholas’ hand creeps down little by little from his stomach through the hairs of his happy trail, to the edge of his waistband, Euijoo can’t help but think that this is exactly what they should’ve been all along.

Summary
Euijoo wants to do it all. He wants to kiss Nicholas and wake up next to him. He wants to watch Nicholas playing with Yihyun, take them for a walk in the park and adopt that cat Nicholas mentioned wanting to raise.
He wants to go on a holiday with Nicholas just to not leave the hotel bed for the whole week or watch Nicholas' wet torso as he comes out of the ocean, droplets running down into his swimming trunks. He wants to share his worries about the future with Nicholas, have someone by his side as he watches Yihyun grow up.
He wants it all.
(or: Euijoo, a divorced dad co-parenting his daughter, develops a crush on his next-door neighbour. Is there a better way to get to know him than to ask him to teach his daughter English?)

Armed with nothing but academic research on dominant energy and a silk shirt that feels like a costume, he’s determined to survive the night without failing his most complicated case study yet. But as the night progresses, Jo quickly realizes that Yuma is the only variable his spreadsheets could never have calculated.
