“Are you cool?” the child had immediately asked. She’s not quite a child, perhaps - probably only a bit younger than Scorpius – but she’s very short and has very large eyes. He was startled by the question.
“Am I – ,” he hesitated. “No, I’m quite comfortable. Warm.”
The girl had rolled her eyes. “No, like, are you chill? Can we recruit you?”
The last time Draco was recruited into something, it didn’t actually go very well. But these are just kids. How much trouble could they realistically get into?
The answer to that question was a lot of trouble.
