Y’know those people who never give anyone a straight answer about their sexuality? No “straight” or “gay” or “bi” or “ace” or “I don’t know” or anything? Eliot Spencer was one of those people. He was one of those people because he acknowledged to himself that there were some things he needed to think about in that regard, but he really did not want to think about them, and lying about it by just calling himself straight felt like an admission that he wasn’t. Eliot Spencer was not ready to confront the idea that he might be queer, so whenever anyone asked, he would evade the question entirely or answer as vaguely as possible.
