Lestat loved the kissing and touching, yes, but simply existing with Louis was what led him to fall so hard in the first place. Sometimes they talked; about Lestat's tour and which city the band had visited recently, a book Louis had read and wanted to share, a nice painting he wanted Lestat's opinion on. A glimpse into the mind he so loved, but could not have for himself, at least not like he used to. Lestat savored this moment, a last meal for someone on death row, satisfying, but with the end constantly looming overhead.

Lestat de Lioncourt is joined by Louis de Pointe du Lac in the back room of his tour bus after what was supposed to be some quick, no-feelings-attached sex, but things turn for the worst when Louis has a flashback as they sleep in Lestat's coffin.
