Summary
Shane and Ilya think they've been keeping their relationship under wraps from the rest of the Centaurs team but they are NOT subtle. The boys decide to torture Ilya into coming out with it by making him extremely jealous.
Small canon divergence in which Shane joins the Centaurs but only because of the homophobia from Montreal, no one knows about Shane and Ilya's relationship still, not even the fellow Centaurs...at least that's what Shane and Ilya think.

Hollander narrowed his eyes. “Are you… jealous?” he asked suspiciously.
Ilya scoffed. “You can fuck whoever you want, I don’t give a shit.”
“...Right.” Hollander pulled on his boxers before he dropped the towel. “Because it’s not like you don’t fuck other people too, you know.”
“I know.”
“And it’s not that you- you aren’t enough, or whatever.” Hollander turned even more red, looking down. “But, like, we don’t get to see each other that often.”
“I know.”

Ilya simply smiles, “Moya Lyubov, good to see you too.”
Shane opens his mouth to continue his rant before seeming to remember that he is still in the middle of the showers, where a few stragglers are furiously scrubbing soapy suds off their chests, rushing to finish and get out of Shane’s warpath.
“For fucks sake,” Shane groans, “Get the fuck out of here already! I’m trying to yell at your fucking captain!”
Ilya watches, delightedly, as his defensemen run out of the room with their tails tucked.
Shane doesn’t even wait for the last man to cross the threshold into the locker room before he is whirling on Ilya again.
“A hands-off rule? Who the fuck do you think you are?”

Campus nerd and golden boy Shane Hollander breaks up with Hockey captain and notorious fuckboy Ilya Rozanov because he wants to pursue other options. Ilya issues a campus wide hands off law to make sure that doesn’t happen.
