For example, in an ancient book about different versions of Polyjuice Potion, there are numerous side effects and warnings until on the last page, there is one without any.

And not the one they actually try.
Had Hermione found the ancient book with the warnings, she wouldn’t have brewed it. But as fate likes to play with the Golden Trio, she didn’t. Otherwise she would have read the following words above the potions.
