Sasha takes lead, helping the party navigate over a dreaded Sinking Coffin trap... and fails to notice the second trap in this crypt. Wilde trips it, and after the smoke dissipates... it's clear that something is very, very wrong with Wilde. The party is painfully and forcefully reminded that Wilde is not only their long-suffering handler, but a masterful illusionist.

The veins are prominent and thick, and as Wilde runs a finger over them and feels the blood struggling through them, his mind whites out. Every thought leaves him, replaced by an empty sort of calm. Clarity. For the first time in two years, he knows with certainty what his future looks like, and that’s something, isn't it? A novel experience, to know what comes next.

Zolf snorts. “Glad to hear you’ve made it.”
“You know me darling, fashionably late or nothing,” Wilde says, eyes twinkling. “If I remember correctly we had to take a detour through the Northern Wastes, forgive me if I’m arriving a bit behind schedule.”
Darling. He’s been doing that a lot recently. Zolf hasn’t commented on it, but not because he doesn’t want to.

Year Four (Harry Black and the Resurrection Game) is currently ongoing. No romantic pairings prior to Fourth Year. Basically good Dumbledore and Weasleys, with limited bashing (mainly of James). Eldritch magic, and occasional breaks from canon - always with a purpose.
