Summary
There is something to be said about the simple things. Lazy Sunday mornings. Late evening walks. A quiet evening watching the flames, with Shane’s hand in his hair. These were not things that Ilya took for granted, because if anyone knew just how quickly it could all evaporate, it was Ilya Rozanov.
So why was this such an incredible shock… So deep within his bones… Had he really let his guard down? Had he become… weak?
IMPORTANT NOTE:: This story had NOT been abandoned, but I have been kicked out of my house on a farm (because of nepo bureaucracy) in the middle of nowhere and suddenly need to find a new place to live within the next few weeks, so I can't give the last chapter the attention it deserves. It will, however, be finished as soon as is humanly possible.
UPDATE: An actual real life FLOOD has further delayed this. I've been evacuated twice in quick succession... Can't make this shit up. Anyone believe in the curse? Because I never did...Bookmarked by Mischa_tune
