Summary
Jess does not return to Stars Hollow after the car crash. Instead Luke goes to visit him during the summer, and finds out how his sister and his nephew have really been living. Liz is high, her apartment is a mess, and so is Jess. He takes a feverish Jess to the hospital and then back to Stars Hollow.

Summary
A Luke/Jess uncle/nephew relationship fic (pro-Java Junkie and Literati!!) that takes place in season 7.
Intense drama/angst at times. I chose to include the "major character death" warning but... well, I don't want to be spoilery, but please don't read it feeling sure that anyone in particular will die. They might survive. It's just... At the end of chapter 5 I'll include an author's note explaining myself.
This was my first attempt at writing fanfiction ever!! It is not my best work, I've probably improved a bit since writing this, but I still think it's worth reading. ;) In fact, re-reading it myself now, I am quite proud of this thing. These 12 chapters were written and originally posted on Fanfiction.net over the course of slightly over 6 months, from November 29, 2010 through May 8, 2011.

Summary
