“I could. This is easier,” Katsuki said, disinfecting Hitoshi’s port.
He was only a breath away. One wrong (right) move and they’d connect fully. It was tempting, but there was a massive fucking tube that was buried somewhere in his heart in Katsuki’s hands. He was a lot of things, but willing to rip a garden hose out of his chest was not one of them.
“Mmm- easier on the eyes?” Hitoshi goads just as Katsuki twists the connectors.

Summary
Loki's plans to drop Odin in a home for the elderly unfortunately get interrupted by Thor. During the ensuing fight, a magical artifact gets broken that wipes out Thor's memory of the past 300 years. Confused and disoriented, Thor battles the arriving Avengers and threatens to slaughter innocent mortals to the dozens as well. But Loki, afraid of alerting Heimdall to what was happening, persuades Thor to go with the Avengers peacefully. Thor agrees, but he naturally assumes that Loki would be part of the group as well, because -of course- Loki would always follow where Thor went, right?
So now the Avengers and Loki are stuck pretending Loki is also part of the group until Thor’s memories return. A totally simple plan with zero chance of anything going wrong. Really. Well, at least that's what Loki's trying to tell himself.

Mairu and Kururi, freshly won over by his improved behavior, are important to him, and Mairu especially needs his help, very pregnant at eighteen, and suffering from an illness similar to his. Between all this, the ancient prophecy Celty remembers, Shizuo's concerning, deep cough and the rumors of an international drug trafficking ring involving Ikebukuro, Izaya finds his hands very full indeed.
