Shane turned to face Hayden and J.J., who were both looking at him with equally unimpressed expressions.
“Would you go if we didn’t bother you about it?” Hayden asked, raising an eyebrow. Shane flushed a little in embarrassment, choosing not to respond. Instead, he shoved past the both of them, leaving the locker room.
They both silently followed behind him as he (mortifyingly) started walking over to the office where the team doctor was set up. He came to a stop in front of the office. Stared at the door. His throat felt dry.
