"What?" For the first time since the storm began, Mob tilts his gaze down towards Verity. "What do you mean?"
"Do you ever get lonely?" Verity repeats the question back simply.
Mob scoffs. "I thought you were only supposed to answer questions, not ask them." He says.
Brows twitching together, Verity chuckles lightly. "Well, do you?"
"Well— uh yeah, I mean— who doesn't?" Mob diverts his gaze, almost sheepish as he answers.
Something about that reply makes the entity want to frown. Mob shouldn't feel alone, he has Verity. They have each other. So what could ever make him feel like that wasn't enough?
