Professor Kenobi breaks his leg ("technically, it's a non-displaced ankle fracture") over the summer and needs to rely on campus security cadets to pick him up from his car and deliver him to his office in a golf cart. He's most frequently assigned to Anakin, an undergraduate who is...well, he's not actually very good at it, but his heart is in the right place.

Summary
Due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances on both their parts, Anakin Skywalker moves himself and his twins into recently divorced Obi-Wan Kenobi's house. It's a business arrangement. The Skywalkers get a place to live, and Kenobi gets help paying off his mortgage.
And maybe down the line, they both get second chances to fall in love and also a bigger family than they ever planned. Maybe by the end of it all, the house Obi-Wan had thought was too large actually ends up being too small.

Summary
As the Clone War hits full force and it becomes clear it's not going to end in short order, Omega and Alpha Jedi Generals have to contend with what to do about heats & ruts. The war effort can't spare them for the days unmet heats & ruts last, not really. And suppressants aren't safe to take endlessly.
When Anakin and Obi-Wan are in the Halls of Healing brainstorming what they're each going to do about it with a Healer, Anakin comes up with a simple but straightforward solution.
He's an Omega and Obi-Wan's an Alpha so they'll just meet each other's heats and ruts, satisfying them in a matter of hours instead of days.
Obi-Wan might have some concerns about this plan.

Summary
Anakin knew, of course, that Obi-Wan went into heat, something which heretofore had nothing to do with Anakin. That every few months he disappeared for a few days, returning later as if nothing had happened with only slight shadows under his eyes to indicate what had transpired in the days he was absent.
It made sense that Obi-Wan would have sought the comfort of an alpha for some of these heats. Even if Anakin didn’t particularly like the idea. Ok, he hated it.
But, Anakin tamped down this swell of jealousy, carefully releasing the emotions into the force (Obi-Wan would be proud). Because as much as this new knowledge grated, it also opened Anakin’s eyes to new possibilities, if he played his cards right.
Or,
Obi-Wan agrees to let Anakin help him through his heat.
