The coffin is too small for two people but death isn’t usually a pairs activity.
Another wave hits, weaker than before but far more terrifying. Ordinarily, Xie Lian would say his balance is pretty good, but it’s no match for the water around them. His hips pitch forward right where he doesn’t want them, pressing Hua Cheng against the side of the coffin and leaving him with nowhere to hide. Although he’s ascended to heaven three times this is the second his soul leaves his body. At least he’ll save Hua Cheng the trouble of finding Xie Lian a coffin now that he’s died of embarrassment.
