Oswald contemplates aspects of his hiring criteria and personality while bemoaning his bad timing. This is triggered by a revelation in that morning’s issue of The Gotham Gazette’s gossip column concerning and old ‘friend’.
This is my entry for day two of Riddlebird Week 2025, the prompt was Henches, which is a non-gender specific term meaning subordinates. Like henchmen but including the ladies without being cumbersome.
The first day’s prompt I did an art piece, so please don’t go looking for a fic for that one, it doesn’t exist lol.
