Summary
The Reapers have been defeated, Commander Joel Shepard is in a coma, and Garrus Vakarian is still trying to do the right thing for those around him. When he meets a red-haired human who just so happens to share a last name with his best friend, Garrus takes it upon himself to make her feel welcome among the Normandy crew. As the two spend more time together, though, the lines begin to blur. Are they friends? Or is what Garrus is beginning to feel for Jane something more?

His feelings regarding his crewmate and friend, Lieutenant Jane Shepard, however, weren't as clear cut. She'd taken up residence in his head and wouldn't leave.
