"You have to stop waking up so late.” Yudai says through a faux-glare.
It’s a running gag at this point. That was the lie Maki told the first time he barged into the bathroom to interrupt Yudai’s shower. Maki had accidentally fallen asleep watching a movie with Taki and had stayed the night. Yudai didn’t mind then, and he sure as hell doesn’t mind now, but he definitely wasn’t as eager to let Maki see him naked then as he is these days.
“I’m sorry, hyung.” Maki beams, his beautiful smile filling the cramped, windowless shower with sunlight. He isn’t sorry at all. “You don’t mind, right?”
“Of course not.” Yudai offers a polite smile, forever coy. “I don’t mind at all.”
Yudai supposes his comfort is a worthwhile sacrifice if it means having Maki all to himself—just for a few minutes.

For probably the first time tonight, Euijoo glanced at him. Euijoo absolutely loved Maki’s eyes. They were bright and a beautiful shade of brown that Euijoo wanted to dive into. But he loved them even more tonight. Because Maki had his bangs down, covering his eyebrows gently. His eyes were bigger and he looked younger. Vulnerable. He never realized how young Maki looked until tonight. Until he looked at him like that.
“What did you just say?” Euijoo asked, feeling brave.
“You just want to hear it again.”
“Maybe.”

Yudai fights an eyeroll, tightening his grip on Maki’s waist. “I’m being nice, because you just said I’m mean. What do you want from me?”
“I want you to kiss me.” Maki groans, pushing his bottom lip out even further. “Touch me, hyung. Do something, I’m so pent up.”
Yudai doesn’t need to be told twice.
Yudai really needs to stop spoiling Maki so much.
