“Nothing serious,” Yuna says before Shane can reply. “I was just telling Shane about this great opportunity to work with a maternity athletic brand.”
“I don’t really feel comfortable right now, Mom,” Shane tells her, grimacing as he looks down at the stretched fabric of the hoodie he’s wearing. “I’m not myself. I don’t think this is the Shane Hollander brands are expecting.”
“You are beautiful, perfect, moy lyubimyy,” Ilya is quick to disagree.
“Ilya is right,” Yuna says, “and Shane, they know you’re pregnant. That’s exactly why they want you! You’re breaking barriers for omegas in the NHL. A pregnant, star NHL player? Just think of how much hope young omegas would feel looking at you!”
Ilya winces. He hadn’t meant for his comment to encourage Yuna this way.

“Yes?” Ilya said.
“I think it’s different for us. I don’t want us to be all blissful and then only start fighting when we’re back to barely seeing each other. I think it’s good if we figure things out now, when we have the time. Whatever needs figuring out. So we have a solid foundation going into the season. Sort of like training camp.”
“So this means you will keep getting mad at me for things,” Ilya said.
Shane smiled, rolled his eyes. “Yeah, exactly,” he said.
“Good, I find it very hot,” Ilya said, and kissed him.An insecure over-thinker and a self-destructive thrill-seeker walk into a relationship.

“Fuck,” Rozanov swore, quietly. He sounded like he’d just been slammed against the boards — wounded and winded in a way Shane thought, privately, he had no right to feel. “What are you going to do?”
“Well I can’t fucking keep it,” Shane said, voice shrill. “What the fuck am I going to tell my team? Oh, sorry guys, I have to bow out of this season halfway. Oh, you know, nothing super serious, it’s just that Rozanov — yeah, you know that guy, captain of our franchise fucking rivals? — he fucking knocked me up!”
Two babies Shane and Ilya never have, and the daughter they do.

Summary
“What on earth are you doing?” Remus asked, a fond, confused smile on his lips.
“We’re going outside,” Sirius replied simply, grinning and tugging on Remus’s hand.
Remus just laughed, but allowed Sirius to pull him outside and into the rain anyway. “But it’s the middle of the night! And it’s pouring!” he protested with a grin, looking up to the sky as both of them began to feel cool droplets of rain against their skin. It was already soaking through the fabric of Remus’s t-shirt.
“I know!”
OR
Remus has a bad night, and Sirius is determined to turn it around by showing him exactly how loved he is.
Can be read as a one-shot, or as a slice of life sequel to The Scientific Method!

”Don‘t be nervous, daddy!“, Teddy smiled brightly, holding onto Remus‘ hand as he tried to keep up with Sirius‘ walking pace. Of course he had a Holyhead Harpies hat proudly perched on his messy head of curls, and a scarf wrapped around his neck that was, even after multiple wrap-arounds, still so long that it kept dragging on the grass and making his little feet stumble over it.
- or Remus and Sirius take their son to see Ginnys first game with the Holyhead Harpies. :)
