Summary
Languishing in a dull and lonely existence on the forest moon of Endor after travelling there to help salvage Death Star wreckage, a nearly fatal encounter with a mysterious bounty hunter out in the forest heralds an opportunity to utilise long-forgotten skills and develop something more profound than you ever thought possible.
Second person POV, present tense. Set after season 2, diverges from Canon events before TBoBF and season 3. This is a novel-length, exceptionally slow burn with an original plot, worldbuilding, and fully developed characterisation. SWU concepts and lore are accurately researched.

Summary
You’d never given much thought to how you would die.
The First Blackfyre Rebellion gives you plenty of chances to consider it.
When Winterfell refuses to send men south, you go anyway — cutting your hair, forging your father’s hand, and riding under a bastard’s name. You find out first-hand that war takes its price in blood. You even find yourself saving one prince’s life and owing your own to another — quite the feats to accomplish in your first few months in the war.
Alas, nothing good happens to Starks who travel south.

Summary
The rites of Old Valyria are scripture in her blood: House Targaryen endure as the legacy of the dragonlords of old, and ‘tis not the right of a princess to refuse better word.
Aegara Targaryen has grown fond of the blistering heat of the east, content in the peace that finds her not at Summerhall with the burden of the world on her shoulders. Following several attempts to her life, a hail for her return to her family weighs largely unwanted.
The presence of a particularly persistent hedge knight wasn’t at all expected, either.

Or: Dunk of Flea Bottom saves a mouthy girl he comes upon on the side of the road, oblivious to the weight of the strange paleness of her hair. Perhaps it was the scarlet eyes which had addled him quite stupid, perhaps not.
