Summary
The epiphany hit him like a stray bullet. No, literally, Eddie would know.
All the air got sucked from his lung, creating a vacuum that muffled and drowned out everything around and inside of him. His eyes fell on the only thing in bright, blinding focus, just as it had the day he was actually shot. The only thing in 4K edge cutting ultra high definition in a world running on a pixelate, black and white RCA Playmate, was Buck.
I am gay , Eddie´s mind simply stated into the deafening silence in his ears and his lips fell slack.
I am gay and in love with my best friend , Eddie thought gayly- he gayed thoughtly. Gayed gayly. Eddie was having a stroke. Gayly.
„Hey Eddie, you okay?“
„Gay!“ Eddie yelped, turning his head so quick it gave a crack. „Yes, okay, me okay. I am-“
OR
Eddie dreams of Buck and his entire world comes tumbling down around him

Summary
“Buck, what’s wrong?” Hen asked again.
He looked up at the three of them, their matching faces of concern, and he said, “A girl I slept with a little while ago, she… She’s pregnant. It’s mine.”
There was a beat of silence, and then Chimney said, “Lord help that baby.”
Or: instead of Abby changing Buck’s life, it’s a baby

Summary
“Evan? Is that you?”
Buck, who was now busy tiding up all their gear, almost dropped the harness he was holding. The sound of that voice, too close for comfort.
“Evan, come on. You know what you need to do.”
Later Buck would still question what had happened.
When a familiar face shows up after an easy rescue, Buck is thrown back into a past he would rather forget.

Summary
He inches slightly as he braces himself on the edge of the roof. He’s ready. More ready, maybe, than he’s ever been. The soles of his shoes are pressed flush to the wall of the building and his hands grip the course edge of the building. He looks down at the city commotion, then up at the Big Dipper constellation (the first one he could ever identify as a kid). He feels his heart finally slow down to an acceptably calm rhythm. He closes his eyes. He doesn’t feel anything anymore. He doesn’t hear anything.
He doesn’t hear the door to the roof open, nor does he hear the blood-curdling scream behind him.Or;
Buck has never felt so alone in his entire life. The noise and the hatred and pain is loud and he wants it to stop. So he decides to make it.
