Summary
A modern-day farrier from California somehow accidentally isekai's herself into Rohan and ends up acquiring a future king, one of the Mearas, an attack goose, and a reputation for solving problems with rocks (though not necessarily in that order).
Nobody is entirely sure how this happened, least of all Tova.
The Rohirrim are beginning to suspect she may be blessed by Béma; Tova is beginning to suspect they're all insane.
Because between a horse with alarming intelligence and questionable motives, a goose of dubious moral character, and a growing tendency to become involved in events of historical significance against her will, Tova finds herself navigating a world of kings, wars, ancient evils, and increasingly baffling levels of responsibility.
After all, the fate of Middle-earth was never supposed to depend on a farrier with a pocket full of rocks and the self-preservation instincts of an orange cat.
And yet, here they are.

Summary
The battle for Helm's Deep is about to begin, and Eomer has enough to worry about without Eowyn and her lady-in-waiting, Asta, trying to sneak away to fight.
Asta is every bit as stubborn as her mistress. She has no regard for Eomer's authority and seems to live for no other purpose than to get under his skin- how can he possibly convince her to stay in the caves where she belongs?
