Summary
Din was content to leave his demanding, high-risk military career behind when chance led him to Grogu and the two became family. Looking for a quiet life and wanting to raise his adopted son in peace, the two move to Naboo after a doctor recommends a change in climate might alleviate Grogu’s asthma attacks. Din just wants to open the bakery he’s been dreaming of and focus on his son getting better after the horrible experiences of his early childhood. No drama, please. No distractions. There’s just one little problem. The neighbor who cares for the magnificent rooftop garden is incredibly handsome, and what’s even worse, seems to be dreadfully kind.

Anakin has taken to not leaving his room after being discharged from the Halls of Healing following his amputation. Obi-Wan aches as he watches him moping around and tries not to wince at the desolation that radiates from him. All of his attempts to discuss the battle, the injury and the future fall on deaf ears. So he’s going to make tea, he supposes. A tried and tested method. No matter how angry or upset Anakin is, no matter how sad, he’s never ignored Obi-Wan when he made him tea.

Slowly, Anakin reaches out and lays two fingers against the hollow of Obi-Wan’s throat. His heartbeat is slow and regular. The Force bond between them seems calm and quiet. Anakin tugs on it a bit, just to feel the familiar shape of it, and when Obi-Wan doesn’t tug back, he sighs.
“Master?”

After losing an arm in the battle of Geonosis, Anakin wakes up, hurting, in the Halls of Healing back on Coruscant. He has no idea where his Master is. He’s close, though. He can sense him.

Summary
Bob props himself up on his elbows to look at John properly. Lying there between his legs, with his back all scratched up, his hair a mess, he looks – content. He’s getting sleepy and resembles a golden retriever about to take a nap. Deep laugh lines radiate from the corners of his eyes when he smiles like this, and for some time after they all moved into the tower, none of them got to see John like that. Everyone walked around Bob on tiptoes, but he thinks that actually, John was the tough case to crack.

John considers how far the two of them have come since the day they met, and the more he thinks back to that day, the more he wants to slap himself. Bob never really said so, but John knows Bob must have despised him that day; how he likely reminded him of his father, so irritable, so aggressive.
Can a person ever truly change their mind about someone?
John thinks about Bob drifting off during movie nights and resting his head against John’s shoulder; about Bob instinctively taking a step closer to him in the coffeeshop when an old drunk started yelling at a barista; about Bob seeing him shirtless and blushing furiously, choking on his coffee; about Bob looking at him and grinning, scrunching his nose in a way that was growing on John rather alarmingly.

A selection of evaluations of the health of CT-9904, as performed by Nala Se.

Nala Se nods. CT-9904 would be identifiable from across any room nearly instantly; with his modifications, it is obvious. The clone’s proportions are unusual, thinner and taller than would be expected at this stage of development, and streaks of gray pepper his dark hair despite his young biological age. She had expected that variation. On many species her work has shown an inextricable link between hair color and visual development, and humans are no different.
“CT-9904,” she murmurs. “Please explain yourself.”
The clone unfolds himself and gets awkwardly to his feet, saluting before looking down at his boots. The injuries are apparent, a blue-black bruise swelling his right eye shut, scrapes up and down his rather thin, angular face. He sniffs, rubbing the back of his hand against his nose. It comes back bloody.

Crosshair breathes deeply in answer, feeling exhaustion creeping upon him. He fights it down.
“Talk to me,” he murmurs instead as he did back on Tantiss when the screaming in his head became too loud.
And so Omega talks, her voice soothing, as they lay together, their limbs tangled and Crosshair almost can breathe again.Crosshair is back with the Batch but it's only a start.

Summary
Hunter tries to sleep during the first weeks on Pabu, but something isn't right.

He isn’t sleeping well.
It doesn’t make much sense, objectively. Pabu is the safest world they’ve been on in months, maybe in their lives. It’s a paradise here. The people are genuinely kind, grateful to them for all of their help during the sea surge. Omega runs and plays and laughs, and he keeps losing her in crowds of dozens of other children, all unique. Hunter knows he should be sleeping better than ever in a place of such security.
But night after night he wakes up after a few hours of uneasy, broken sleep, and eventually gets up, going on quiet walks alone.
He lets the night-voice of this world wash over him as he walks the mountainside. He’s used to the blending of a place’s scents, sounds, light spectrum, gravity, weather all combining into a particular signature. Pabu is painted in a rich new palette, and he walks through it in the dark, memorizing it on his own.
