Summary
Mallory Moore is the succesful owner of Moorland Casino, one of France's premier casinos. It is situated directly opposite Le Rouet, owned by her bitter rival Stefan Rose, a man with whom she has a bitter past. Stefan's daughter Aurore, brought up by nannies after the untimely death of her mother, has returned to her Father's home after finishing her education, and is intrigued by the beautiful Mal Moore, a woman she has admired from afar for many years.
