“Warlock,” Nanny had said, and cupped his face again, “I want you to promise me something. I want you to promise me something, and it might seem odd, but I need you to do it, okay?”
“What?” said Warlock.
“Just promise me,” said Nanny.
“I promise.”
“Good,” she’d said, “Now, if you ever—and I mean ever find yourself in a situation like this again—one that seems scary, or one where any normal person would be in danger—I need you to pray. Pray to Aziraphale or to Crowley to come and get you.”
“Who’s that?” asked Warlock.
“Just promise me,” insisted Nanny in a voice like iron, “Aziraphale and Crowley. Can you repeat those names?”
“Y—yeah. Azif—Aziraphale and Crowley.”
"Good boy."

Summary
Starting a torrid affair means that Crowley and Aziraphale get to experience all the joys of love a human could possible feel. But given that angels and demons have other, celestial bodies, it stands to reason that those can be enjoyed as well.
As such a dalliance is without precedent, there really was no way for Aziraphale to know that there might be consequences. Specifically consequences in the shape of a half angel, half demon child without a corporation and no chance of approval from Heaven or Hell.

When Earth freezes over, it’s springtime for the Underworld — but it wasn’t always that way.Aziraphale, God of Spring, was once isolated from the other gods by his overbearing mother. Crowley, God of the Underworld, wanted him to take the freedom he deserved — and all it took, in the end, was a little piece of fruit, and a lot of temptation.

Summary
The first thought that occurs to Crowley is that Aziraphale had not been joking when he said he loved books. The library is enormous, shelves upon shelves upon shelves filled to bursting with everything from shiny hardbound novels to musty tomes flaking with age. The air is pleasant with the lingering aroma of something that reminds Crowley very much of vanilla.
But there is another scent that is all too familiar to Crowley, a soft floral note he immediately recognizes, and another scent underlying it that is terribly out of place in this beautiful room – it is very faint, but unmistakable.
The putrid smell of rot.

Summary
A re-telling of Good Omens as a Dreamtime Story, casting the story within the mythos of the Australian Aboriginal people. This is Good Omens as you might hear it in Australia, perhaps walking along the beach, the story punctuated by the rhythmic crashing of crystal clear waves, or perhaps gathered around a crackling fire late at night, the stars of the Southern Cross twinkling in the sky above you. Crowley, naturally, is the Rainbow Serpent.

A mysterious rival and a ghost from the past threaten Fell's magical career.
---
Fell felt fresh heat surge through him at the smug dismissal. That Crowley could create such a trick, that he could master it without apparent effort, that he could do something that seemed to defy death itself, after Fell himself had struggled so much – well, it was infuriating. He had spent years of practice, years of dedication to nothing but the art of magic. He had carefully and deliberately begun with the simplest of card tricks and progressed methodically from those to more complex illusions involving fire and live birds. He had worked, damn it, worked and worked, until he felt as if his life had narrowed to the circle cast by the stage lamps in the Egyptian. And Crowley had, apparently, simply woken up one day and decided he wanted to be a magician, and had done so, with surpassing brilliance and ease. He had, apparently effortlessly, created an illusion that seemed truly impossible, with a mastery that surpassed anything Fell had even seen, even Maskelyne and Cooke’s levitation, or Hermann’s fabled bullet catch.
It might have even stung less if Crowley had made him a part of it, somehow. Had consulted him professionally, or even mentioned his interest. But Crowley had always scorned magic – at least, he had in the years before he had left Fell utterly alone, an indifferent silence that had been more hurtful than contempt.
They hadn’t – they hadn’t been friends , per se. But it had been something. Was it possible that Crowley had picked up the hobby just to show him up? Another nail in the coffin of that previous uneasy fellowship they had once shared?
---
“You’ve been gone for so long,” he said softly, the fire of his anger diminished momentarily, and then it flared up again hot and bright: “Is this all you’ve been up to? Learning magic to spite me?”“To spite you?” Crowley’s lip twisted into a sneer, an expression of disdain made only the crueller for its handsomeness – or so Fell had thought for a long time, when that pretty scorn had been directed elsewhere, and only lightly bestowed upon himself. But now it was like standing before a lit cannon.
“To spite you? Why on earth would I do anything at all to spite you?” Crowley continued. “We barely know one another. We are not fraternising, as you made clear on our last meeting. We are passing acquaintances at best. Why should I stoop to spite a mere acquaintance?”
---
Afterwards, he would think on the moment until it was worn to a fine lustre in his memory, and always with a dizzying combination of shameful wanting and grief. That was some kind of trick, too: the way Crowley could always manage to ignite him, set him aflame like flash paper, until Fell burned so bright and hot for him that he didn’t care if everything else turned to ashes.
---
She shrugged. “No parable,” she said. “They might just be lovers. Although it could also be about balance. Doubles and opposites. Opposing forces.”“How quaint.”
“Or it could be both,” she went on. “Someone could have a lover who is also a rival.” Her too-knowing eyes lifted up to meet his. “One might sneak into a performance, for example, while the other shells out a guinea for box three.”
It was too much. “We’re not lovers,” he snapped – even as, unbidden, the memory of Crowley’s hands on his face, the heat of his mouth, swept through him again, and he shivered.
---
They used to burn witches. He had never understood why, before. But now, looking at his assistant’s averted gaze, the faint hint of amused certainty tucked into the corner of her mouth, he had the uncharitable thought that his assistant could perhaps do with a light singing. As if she had heard him, her dark eyes flicked up towards him. Amusement or reproach? He couldn’t tell.
---
Not much of a gift,” said Arachne, “if it was meant to be a gift.”“It’s not a gift,” he said, and even to his own ears his voice sounded far away. He plucked the apple from the box, held it to his nose. It smelled like the memory of a garden.
“Well, then, what is it?”
“I think,” Fell began, and stopped, turning it over in his hand. To his own discomfort, he found himself fighting the urge to set his mouth against the concave shape of the bite. The memory of Crowley’s mouth on his rose unbidden in his mind, and he was struck by the strangely intimate notion that Crowley’s kiss ought to have tasted of apples.
With a shake of his head, he made himself drop the fruit, and the sound it made as it hit the stage was wet and final.
He tugged his glove back on, and turned away from it.
“I think it’s a trick,” he said.

For Want of a Sale by Atalan
Sometimes you don't need a book of prophecy, you just need Newton Pulsifer in the right place at the right time to lend a helping hand.AU written for Mort's "Newt" prompt :)
---
Newt has quickly grasped Mr Fell’s business model, which is not to have one. He doesn’t know why the man feels compelled to run a bookshop instead of, say, hoarding everything in a private collection – he certainly doesn’t seem to be hard up for money – but it’s clear that there are some sort of rules he plays by, and that simply not offering his books for sale is not an option. The bookshop has an eclectic system of organisation that Newt memorised within three days, and a careful tier system of which volumes may, under some circumstances, be permitted to depart in the grubby hands of customers. It turns out Newt is as good at selling books as he is at fixing computers, and for largely the same reason: his attempts to persuade someone to make a purchase cause smoke to come out of their ears and all higher functions to shut down as they beat a hasty retreat.
---
(Newt’s never sure what to make of Mr Crowley. Everything about him simultaneously screams organised crime and amateur theatre, and Newt has no idea how to reconcile that. He and Mr Fell spend about 80% of their time arguing, and Newt’s still trying to work out if they’ve sworn a blood oath of vengeance against each other or if they’re secretly married.)
---
Mr Fell nods, while Mr Crowley makes a face at Shadwell’s name. Newt still doesn’t know how the two of them know Shadwell, nor why neither of them realised the other one did until one spectacularly awkward afternoon in Hyde Park.
---
“Only one way to find out,” Mr Crowley replies, swinging to his feet with sudden urgency. “But he’ll be hidden from us. Anti-detection field thingy. Suspicion slides off him like… whatever it is water slides off.”“Ducks,” Newt supplies helpfully, if somewhat bemusedly.
“Ducks!” Mr Crowley exclaims, with a grin that borders on the manic. He claps Newt on the shoulder. “You, Mr Pulsifer, are a man of hidden talents.”
Newt is torn between pride and a looming certainty that he’s about to wish that Mr Crowley wasn’t quite so pleased with him.
