If Professor Fig was hesitant to leave you in San Bakar’s tower, he definitely didn’t show it. As soon as you finished speaking, he apparated out of the building. You thought he would want to be present to at least see you access the reservoir of ancient magic, but clearly you had been mistaken.

Summary
Your eye is then drawn by movement in your periphery, and when you look up you see the mannequins are now swaying slightly. Some of them seem to be pushed by some sort of breeze that you can't feel, but others are almost writhing, wooden limbs moving unnaturally as though the inanimate objects were feeling pain. Professor Sharp looks upwards as well, his grip tightening a bit on your shoulder in what you think is meant to be a comforting way, though Professor Sharp seems to be a bit out of practice when it comes to comforting gestures considering how firm his hold is.
