Reborn an Ulitharid, a Mind Flayer of great power and purpose, the wizard dies and Zeldrin is born, a noble among his race, independent of the Elder Brain's influence. Yet, a hint of the wizard remains, a lingering memory. Not enough to take control, but enough to influence a newborn, alien mind more than the Elder Brain might wish.
