    There's no explanation, no 'I didn't know where else to go' or mumbled excuses. Steve doesn't ask questions. He doesn't need to. This has become routine, in a strange sort of way, the midnight ringing of his doorbell, Billy's face bruised, his jaw set, his eye's cold. Sometimes Steve wants to ask why it was him Billy came to on that first night, why it's still Steve he comes to know. But he doesn't. He knows better than to do things like that by now.

    "I wanted to be a ballerina," Continued Regulus simply, although Severus couldn't help but notice the longing in his eye's, the wistful gaze a person cast a life they knew they'd long missed.

    Severus laughed softly, yet with no mean spirit, "A Ballerina?"

    Regulus nodded, as if his younger selfs dreams were the most obvious thing in the world, "Yes. They retire young, Ballerinas, perhaps then i would finally get some rest".
