Summary
A distressed churr managed to slip past his lips, high and needy and begging for the one he was crying for to make it better again. The ice giant hit his head with both fists to snap himself out of it, but to no avail. Another frustrated growl followed, lower this time. But it didn't take long for it to melt back into the babyish cries from before.
Uranus had hurt him.
Uranus had left him for Planet X with no hesitation, insulted him behind his back, refused to understand where Neptune was coming from when he'd tried talking, so many times. He'd chosen... stars, he'd chosen to not listen to Neptune even when the smaller got on his knees and begged to talk to make it better. He'd... left.
Oh stars, Uranus had left.
Or
Neptune loves Uranus, more than anything in the world.
Not having his beloved cousin anymore hurts more than he thought it ever could have.

Late into the night, Scar traces paths on the crinkled paper of the map, navy ink staining his fingers as they trace a potential route over the yellowed parchment. With an annoyed grunt, Scar rests his head in his scarred hands. This wasn't good.

Waves lap at the rocks, frothy tips grabbing at the stone then retreating back into the dark mass of the ocean beneath. Grian watches the water’s movement, tail flicking in the water. It had always gotten compliments- and the siren wasn’t arguing. The way to a siren’s heart was through compliments. Lots of compliments. Grian flicks his contentedly, the tricolour scales scintillating in the waning light of the sunset. Crimson, sunflower and cobalt, all shimmering in the dying light of the sun.
OR
Renowned pirate captain, Scar Goodtimes, finds an injured siren. He takes them in, and shenanigans ensue.

Joel and Etho grew up together, but grew apart when Etho left to defend monsters, forcing Joel to protect their village alone, and fail.

The ice giants looked pathetic.
That was X's only thought as he stared at the heap of miserable looking blue planets, even if he himself was in no place to judge. He didn't exactly look any better, with his darkened eyes or shaky limbs.
At least he hadn't turned ghostly pale, he thought, unnamable feelings bubbling to the surface the longer he looked over Neptune's form. Seriously, Neptune was almost as dark as him- how did he become as pale as Uranus? He knew what orbital sickness was, but it had to be more than just-
"Take a picture, mate." Uranus grumbled, unhappily so- which, yeah, fair enough X did abandon him the last time they spoke. "It will last longer."

After the rogues left the solar system alone, it is time for Planet X to do the same.

Etho is the captain of a pirate ship, and at the moment, they're just trying to survive. Accidentally adopting/kidnapping a siren was never in the plans. The plan is to dump Joel off the moment they're able, but as time goes on, Etho might not be able to escape the sea's greatest temptation.

Summary
When they were little, and too small for words- the ice giants had communicated with each other through sound.
Clicks and purrs they hadn't even realized they were making until each had been lifted into the warm and loving gaze of the Sun- who'd spoken in words they didn't even know they were capable of speaking until they heard his voice, caring and soft as he whispered their names like a prayer, admiring ones pretty wings and stroking the other's fins and tail.
It didn't take long to notice that back then, when there were no moons, no rocky planets, no dwarf planets and only four giants, they were the only ones capable of producing such sounds.
One stopped making them because he felt embarrassed by his differences.
The other stopped because he forgot he could.
Or
After the moons returned hurt from their battle against Planet X, Uranus started an old habit he couldn't even remember doing in hopes of healing his moons... and his dear cousin, after worrying about him too.
OR
Apparently, fish and birds can purr.

And now Saparata lives alone in his home once made death trap as he tries to ignore his constant worries and thoughts about his once dear friend Fluixon, but as rumors about his whereabouts start to bubble up Saparata is forced to have his thoughts come to light.

Summary
Waking up on the surface of Earth was bad enough.
Waking up as a squishy Earthling was worse.
And waking up as an Earthling that both does not exist and also posses a threat to the dominant Life on the planet was outright disastrous.The planets and a selection of moons have all found themselves in the bodies of dragons, stuck on the surface of a planet they have little knowledge of how to survive on. With the vague goal of reaching the North Pole with everyone alive and intact, the group will have to contend with some of the hardest challenges the surface can throw at them. All while avoiding the notice of the humans, who will surely hunt them down or capture them as threats or curiosities.
(Unrelated to my other fics. Set after the exile of Ganymede and Europa.)

Joel’s life is complicated as it is. It’s bad enough that most days he can’t seem to find any good reason to leave his bed every morning, but with job troubles and his friends being worried about his well-being, the last thing he needs is to get bound to his soulmate. As per tradition, they now have to spend a whole week together to see if this bond can really work. Sure, he’s got friends that have already been tied and are happy, but can a stupid string really find the love of your life? Is the mysterious masked man he’s stuck with now really all that he’s cracked up to be? And is it worth all the trouble?

Summary
The dragons of the Hermitlands have varied, unique hoards. Gemini's garden is the envy of the multiverse. Zedaph's vast herds of rainbow sheep are the most pampered (and magical) unglates around. Wels' suits of armor and collection of arms is one of the most highly curated and extensive, the envy of scholars worlds over.
Impulse- after many, many years in the Hermitlands- is finally ready to bring his hoard to the home he has built.
Which means now he has to explain to his fellow Hermits what he's been skirting for a century-
that his hoard is a person.

"Well... I have many names!" Sun said with pride, his glow brightening up again. "Just like how your name means Zeus, my name is Helios Ra Apollo Inti-"
Jupiter blinked.
And made a face.
The Sun paused. And chuckled. "...But I guess thats a bit of a mouthful for someone as small as you, huh?"
It had never felt right to call himself by those names anyway, considering how the little star couldn't even burn as bright as the other stars.
But then again... those others lost their minds. And Sun gained a planet.
After a bit of thinking... Sun sighed. And he lifted his precious planet back up to introduce himself again, his tone soft and eyes cloudy.
Jupiter smiled back.
Lighting up his surroundings more than any star ever could have done.
"...But you may call me... Sol."
Or
Unlike the Sun, the first time the planets woke up, there was light.

He glanced over at his moons, who were now playing with the moons of Uranus- Triton, Nereid, Proteus, Larissa, Despina, Galatea, Naiad, Thalassa, Halimede, Sao, Laomedeia, Neso, Psamathe, Hippocamp, S/2002 N-5 and S/2021 N-1. All were accounted for.
"Neptune?" Uranus sounded even more worried too. Neptune looked at his feet, pulling his arms away from the other ice giant while his body tensed- why did Uranus need to sound so nice? It made him emotional and he didn't like that. Neptune was supposed to be smiley and giggly, not whatever was happening right now. So he got a little upset and imagined some things, was that so bad? The most useless planet who kept losing either his moons or his mind, why would anyone ever want to be near-
"Cousin?"
"..."
"...Oh, Neptune." Uranus' expression softened immensely when the other planet's eyes filled up with tears.

If there is one thing Neptune doesn't forget, its his moons.
If there is one thing he does forget... is that his precious babies nor the other planets do not forget their love for him- no matter how forgetful he may be.
