Izuku woke up and knew today wasn’t going to be a good day.
You would think that his birthday would be a happy day, one of excitement and fun and joy, but that was the very opposite of what his birthday was.
All his birthday serves as is a reminder, a reminder of his diagnosis as quirkless, a diagnosis that would ruin his life for eight out of his thirteen years.
A reminder of his mother’s tragic death, and the subsequent abuse he suffered in the foster system.
A reminder of Hitoshi’s attempt, and subsequently his own a year later.
His birthday had nothing going for it, and most of the time he wishes he could skip the day altogether.

He wanted to go home, wanted to wake up from this literal nightmare.
But there was no chance of him escaping. The aliens owned him now, and he was stuck somewhere in the galaxy, probably lightyears away from earth…
Meanwhile, Shouta sat in his enclosure, waiting for his new mate to arrive so they could breed.
