The sorcerer truly means this, Arthur knows. Sincerity is practically dripping from every word. It’s such a Merlin thing to promise, with that earnest and determined tone. It only scares Arthur more.

He only turned around once to make sure she was still speechless in the middle of the room and out the door he went with a grin. He’d never seen her speechless before. It was nice, if unsettling.
