Summary
Fox Mulder was never supposed to matter.
Before the badge.
Before the files.
Before the silence between them.At university, Dana Scully is everything Fox Mulder pretends not to be: disciplined, devout, driven by hard work rather than privilege. He is charming, infuriating, and impossible to ignore; a baseball-loving golden boy hiding a mind as sharp as hers and wounds far deeper than he lets anyone see. He’s a distraction she doesn’t need.
Drawn together in class, their rivalry turns into something dangerous and tender, built on late nights and unspoken confessions. Then Fox disappears without explanation, leaving Dana with a lesson she never forgets: never let anyone close enough to break you.
Eight years later, she’s a rising forensic expert at Quantico. He’s an FBI agent chasing truths no one else believes. When fate forces them back together on a case, the past resurfaces: raw, unresolved, and impossible to ignore.
Some silences echo longer than others.
And some people never really leave you.- Language:

Summary
Over six years, 42 Hegel Place had changed. Mulder’s bachelor pad had been rearranged, reflecting his mercurial moods. Since his brain had been lobbed into by their enemies, Scully was spending more time there than ever; influencing its arrangement. It is where they both retreated at the end of a long week.
Their Friday movie-routine, however, becomes disrupted when Mulder starts “accidentally” leaving his adult films in the VHS player for Scully to find.
Was he trying to shock her, inspire interest, or tell her about himself?

Summary
This isn’t just a story of lust and desire — it’s a story of loss, growth, and finding your way back to yourself.
She arrives in her latest car, a red candy apple VW Bug, music blasting, and parks badly on my driveway. Every time I see her, she’s leased something new. I’m not sure what that says about her—commitment issues maybe?
But I don’t have time to unpack that. Not when she’s climbing out of her seat like that, pink skirt hiking just a little too high for a man trying to stay decent in public.
She rushes to open her trunk, bends over, and proceeds to shove half her body inside. I mean, what the hell am I supposed to do with that view?
I gather my aunt’s boxes of vintage fabrics and slowly start heading toward her. I try not to stare at her ass in the process, but my eyes betray me. They always do with her. I stand there awkwardly, eyes pointed ahead while I wait for her to notice me.
She smacks her head on the trunk door when she finally pops out. “I hate when you sneak up on me,” she mumbles, rubbing her head with an adorable scowl.
She’s so cute when she’s angry. Like, annoy me again, kind of cute.
“Sorry.” I say, without a hint of remorse.
