Summary
The room is too loud.
Too cold.
Yet somehow overly hot at the same time.
Like the temperature itself couldn't decide if it wanted to torture him one way or another.

Summary
It was hard to think.
Hard to breathe with a punctured lung, hard to form a thought with a screeching mind, hard to process the melting body in front of him, hard to process those mismatched milky eyes widened with terror, hard to process the world drifting through his fingertips, the shock of his head hitting the ground sending him into that drab gray box again.

Summary
Lately, he had noticed that there was some lingering tension laced between the normal fluid and theatric acts of said dusky-haired pastry, what was once a snarky smirk now replaced with an unsure furrow of brows and averted eyes.
If that would happen, he would always gently squeeze his hand in reassurance, guiding him to a secluded spot and ask what was wrong, only to receive a dismissive wave of a hand with a badly masking smile.
If his days were less busy, then he would usually spend the day with the immortal cookie, and if they were suspended in threads on a wall by political meetings, then he would bombard them with as much affection as he would be allowed to give.
And of course, he wanted to understand what was bothering him.

Summary
' ' You lied. ' ' A cookie hissed, lifting a hand and pointing at the Fount.
Pristine Milk flinched, stepping back on instinct. The crowd of once knowledge-loving cookies erupted into angry shouts and accusations, yelling at the immortal cookie like the insistent storm pounding against the walls of the spire, slamming relentlessly against his sensitive mind.
With a sharp inhale of broken resolve, he ran.

Basic Info:
This is for oneshots that are under 2,000 words (aka shorter than small book chapters)! Any other oneshots that are not under 2,000 words will be separated from this.
I do take requests from time to time, but it takes a lot of time for me to get motivated into actually writing it, so my apologies on that part.
Small Ruleset:
Please keep any negative comments to yourself. AO3 is not meant for negativity and harassing people for their headcanons or writing style.
No NSFW requests! I might make a separate work for this in the future, though that's when I earn enough bravery to since I don't have experience T T

Summary
Pure Vanilla visits White Lily to talk about his growing feelings for Shadow Milk. She doesn't understand but if he was willing to stand up to all of them and give the Beast a chance to change then she supposes she has no other choice but to support him. Unfortunately for them, her faerie subjects get the wrong idea of why the two Ancients are meeting more frequently and decide to take matters into their own hands.
A potion to bring forth hidden affections given to the one cookie that has some form of love for every single person he's ever known means now White Lily has to try and keep an increasingly cuddly Pure Vanilla from embarrassing himself in front of everyone he crosses paths with. And when Shadow Milk shows up, she needs to keep him from making a mistake that may just drive the jester away for good.
Pure Vanilla is lucky she's always been good at figuring out spell craft... and with an extremely reluctant Shadow Milk's help, maybe they can break this lovestruck haze that her friend is trapped in.

Summary
"I won’t make a deal,” Pure Vanilla says, plain and simple. “Not unless I understand every word of it. Not unless I believe it fair. And not if the price is someone else’s pain.”
“You dare to set your terms,” The fae murmurs, his voice no longer playful. No longer velvet. It is frost now, delicate and sharp enough to flay skin. “You sit in my ring, in my garden, and you deny me?”
Pure Vanilla meets his gaze, calm and clear. “Yes.”
The fae snarls.
“I could kill you,” the fae whispers. “Slit you open like a fruit. Spill your mortal heat onto my garden and let the flowers drink your heart."
“You could,” Vanilla agrees mildly. “But I’m told human meat is stringy, and frankly, I’m not sure I’d make a good stew.” He takes another small bite of rice, chews serenely. “Besides, isn’t that just a myth? You lot eating people.”
“You’re testing me,” The fae snaps. “I should curse your tongue to rot in your mouth. I should blight your precious village until even the stones forget your names.”
“Can’t,” Vanilla says lightly, tapping the side of his riceball with one finger. “You’d need my true name. And I’m fairly certain you don’t have it.”
The fae curses.

Summary
Perhaps it was a notebook he was gifted back then? Had White Lily accidentally left it on his side? Pure Vanilla was puzzled. White Lily would not want it back, not when it would bring her nothing but bad memories. It was such a pretty book, too. He mindlessly looked through the pages. Maybe he could make it a new journal, if only to record his travels. After all, this place was only the beginning of his journey throughout Earthbread.
Having made up his mind, Pure Vanilla pulled out a quill and wrote on the first page.
January 11, 20XX. Blueberry Yoghurt Academy. It’s been a long time.
Immediately, the dark ink sank into the page and vanished.
Pure Vanilla blinked, and the page was blank. Then, slowly, a new sentence appeared, like another person was writing back. The words were smooth and elegant.
Hello? Has it really been that long? May I ask who you are?
