Summary
It surprises everyone when Ren presents—Ren especially. Both his parents are betas; statistically speaking, he should have been one as well. He’s never demonstrated any especially alphan personality traits growing up, either.
So, yeah, it’s a shock when he goes into rut. And speaking of…well. It doesn’t go how he thinks ruts usually go.

Summary
It truly is astonishing, that the same dynamic can present in such different ways. Goro Akechi, Detective Prince—charming and polite, yet also a natural leader. He’s charismatic, bold, chivalrous…the example parents hold up to their children as what an Alpha should be.
And then there’s Akira Kurusu. A delinquent, using his alpha strength to assault others, leading a group of high schoolers he’s turned into criminals.

Summary
“I should have Oracle check you for an ailment,” Crow mutters as they make their way down.
Joker shudders. “Gross, don’t talk about my sister when we’re about to have sex. Also, this is all me.”
“I suppose not even a status effect could make someone this crazy. You must come by it naturally.”
“Hey! Don’t pretend like you don’t get off on my brand of crazy.”
“It is attractive,” Crow says with a smirk.
“Besides, Crow, face it. You’re just as crazy as I am. Maybe I suggested this, but you agreed.”

Summary
Wiggling. Writhing. This torturous, flaccid life was all Akechi had known ever since that fateful day in the engine room, ever since Akira had shot down his therapist and condemned him to life as a glorified Uber driver in that false reality. Akechi envied him, really. Akira retained his humanity, his bipedal form, his soft, supple skin Akechi had never truly caressed with the hands he once had taken for granted.
Now, he was only a worm. And Akira could never love Akechi if he was just a worm.

In which post-canon Akechi materializes as a worm on a string.
