It was almost routine, he mused to himself as a cursing Rex and a cursing-er Kix carefully yet urgently dragged his half-disemboweled body to the relative safety of a nearby boulder.

Anakin finally lifted his gaze, brow furrowing. "A worm?"
Leia nodded seriously, while Luke, who had been drawing on a flimsi pad nearby, perked up with interest. "A really big worm or a tiny worm?" Luke asked.
Leia pondered this. "Hmm. A tiny worm."
Anakin stared between his two children, utterly lost. "Why would your mother turn into a worm?"
Leia huffed. "That’s not the point, Daddy! The point is, what would you do?"
