    Yes, Ren wanted him to live. But he also wanted him to do better. Be better. Not only did he want that, he also seemed to believe Akechi was capable of it, despite a myriad of evidence to the contrary.

    Or: Ren moves back home. Akechi breaks into Leblanc and starts squatting in Ren's old room.
