Summary
A/U where Sirius doesn't go to Azkaban, and instead raises Harry, with the help of Remus. They decide to send him to Beauxbatons, and in Harry’s seventh year he comes to Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament. Here he meets Daphne Greengrass, fellow orphan raised by her closest relatives, the Malfoys. The two take to each other quickly, to the displeasure of all those around them.
As if trying to control his headstrong cousin isn't enough, Draco finds himself having to navigate his final year serving as Head Boy with Bane of his existence, Ravenclaw Head Girl, Hermione Granger. And why does politically debating her leave him as aroused as he is annoyed?
And what happens to Voldemort now that Pettigrew isn’t there to help him in his ressurection? Will he fade quietly into nothingness, or rear his ugly head, stronger than ever?
This story is told from the perspectives of Daphne, Draco, Harry and Hermione, and is rooted in self-discovery, friendship, family, and of course, love.
