   Summary

   But… the monster wasn’t doing anything. Why wasn’t he finishing up the job? Eddie thought. The demodog just stood there, staring at Eddie, as if he were a code to crack. The dog’s head tilted towards the side in a curious glance, and Eddie might’ve thought it was cute if he weren’t so terrified of dying right now.

   A sharp whistle breaks Eddie from his thoughts.

   “Chester, stand down,” an unfamiliar, gravely voice sounds. Eddie whips his head towards the sound of someone human talking to a demodog. Talking to it! And… naming it? What the fuck?
