Their mother couldn't take the death that surrounded her children. She would cry, cry, cry, all for her poor sons who were part of the now infamous Tokyo manji gang - the gang that had now reached the top of Tokyo, only after suffering from death surrounding it and it's enemies. Their mother made up her mind. Nahoya Kawata and Souya Kawata, nicknames Smiley and Angry, would move to a small town, away from Tokyo. Makoichi.

Grace roughly knows that March is a widower, because Holly confided in him once—albeit vaguely—but he managed to extract a brief summary of what happened. A tragic accident, a fire that burned down the March family's home, a mother who passed away, and a father who wallowed in guilt and grief. Grace has never known Mrs. March, because she’d passed away before Holly became his student. The seat next to Mr. March during Parent-Teacher Conferences was always empty.
Now it's occupied by a Mr. Healy.
His brain clicks. Oh. Grace briefly entertains the idea of congratulating the new (?) couple.

"Looks like it's just you and me Ry." Colt's words dissolved into the empty park. "Happy birthday by the way, I know I know of course I remembered it's not like today is special for me either."
Distantly Colt realize he probably looks insane for talking to a statue, however he couldn't bring himself to care. Slowly he stood up from the bench and walked closer to the monument, stepping into the shadow that spilled beneath it. By the marble base flowers of every color had been piled up around Ryland's name. Pink and yellows occasionally broken by blue and violets mixed with small trinkets of the Earth and foxes. Colt crouched down by where he knew the gold epitaph laid and cleared it off.
