Summary
After a heated moment with Will sparks a gay awakening in Mike, he does the usual Wheeler thing and runs. Will leaves for college without them speaking, and slowly they drift apart.
Two years later Will returns to Hawkins for the summer to run an Art Workshop. Finding out Mike is openly gay but hadn't told him, and is slowly morphing into someone who looks a lot like Ted Wheeler.
Somehow Mike convinces Will to give him a gay makeover and help him come to terms with the intricacies of his lifestyle.
All while they both pretend to not be in love with each other. Sounds uncomplicated, right?

"You've… been in relationships."
"Um," Nancy says uncertainly, and Mike kicks himself a bit for the rough start. "Yeah?"
"So.. You know how to deal with.. issues. Right?" He bites his lip, trying not to bounce his knee so his food doesn't go flying.
"Relationship issues, you mean?" Nancy clarifies, and when he nods, she leans back with a more understanding look on her face. "You've.. got a relationship issue?"
Basically: Wheeler siblings bonding, Nancy gives good relationship advice, Mike needs a hug and so does she so they hug eachother
This was supposed to be a one-shot and it turned into multiple chapters of Mike getting his life together and fixing relationships so good for him i guess
