It’s hard, traveling through space and not being able to tell when the void stops and becomes full. Missions out in space are learning experiences, a new perspective on his own world and the others. That’s why he loves when, for whatever reason, they stop.
They stop and they can see everything. The bright and dull, the colorful and the monochrome.
And Hal loves it.
Absolutely adores it.
That’s why, when he’s stripped from that sea of colors, his life stops.
