Excellent long fic. Western AU which is hard to say no to, as for me :)
Writer can quite masterfully balance angst and humor (both aspects are brilliantly executed, angsty parts were so good, jesus), but the most prominent thing in this work for me is descriptions of spiritual peace with yourself, nature and people you care about. There's a lot of text but it works here I think.
Kind of has vibes of this one song "I Thought I Saw Your Face Today" instrumental wise, lyrics probably don't fit, but eh.. it's more about the sounds and maybe yellow colour on the album cover
Hope this fic gets more love -

Summary
In the distinct way the universe worked, there was a formidable adversary gifted upon each person at one point in their lives. For some, it was the tyrannical weight of living beneath a malevolent dictator. For others, it was being brought into a world in a body that was not a reflection of their mind. Some had to live, knowing death was their only God given solace. A select few were forced into hiding, for a boy holding another boy's hand was quite possibly too heinous for the world to witness. As for others, it was living with the constant feeling of heaviness, excruciating and so vile, that the release of death was more favorable than having to live another day.
But the sun did shine every morning, and though it went down in the evening, it left with the promise of returning. And with each retreat beyond the edge of the horizon, rose the feeling of hope that tomorrow would be a better day.
The blonde growled, but he didn't relinquish his hold on the smaller. "The hell were you thinking?"
But all the boy could focus on were his eyes

A Stabilizer is an additive or an environmental condition that prevents the degradation of an Element or a compound. Nitroglycerin is known to be extremely volatile - with only two known ways of creating some kind of steadiness in the Explosive Chemical.
Bakugo has only known instability in his life. From the deadly chemical that seeps from the pores on his hands, to his home life. If the universe hadn't had it out for Bakugo, he would have been born a Mundane. Instead he was born as a Guide. One half of a Sentinel/Guide Bonding - the half that is suppose to be stable and emotionally giving. To help Sentinels use all their senses safely. Too bad the universe didn't care enough to give Bakugo the skills to be that.
The Universe had it out for him or maybe, just maybe, it was preparing him for something more...

🐈⬛🐺Awww, absolutely fantastic.
Haven't really read a lot of Sentinel/Guide aus, this is the 2nd one. The descriptions of the mental stuff and Spirit realm are very cool and it was fun to imagine the shields, walls and spirit animals (I hope I don't get confused about these when I look through my bookmarks later lol). Also, the image of Midoriya's Jack Rabbit is very vivid, his gimlet eyes are fitting.
Physiological torture was really spine-chilling (no pun intended), it's impressive he's still sane.
Overall, enjoyed reading this story! Especially the parts where they are protective of each other.
No smut :) -

Kirishima is weird.
Admittedly, in such a world being “weird” is pretty much par for the course, but there’s something else about the guy that Katsuki can’t quite pinpoint.
He sees it in the way Kirishima knocks hardened fists together every time he’s feeling passionate (which is often), in the way his voice comes out louder than it needs to without him realizing, in the way his eyes always miss Katsuki’s by a fraction of an inch.
Most of all, in the way every other word to come out of his mouth seems to be Katsuki’s name.
In which Bakugou asks a simple question and ends up learning more than he ever wanted to.

Monoma had a broken nose because he thought, somehow, his secondary gender made him better and as such, Katsuki needed to drop on all fours and present. So, when Katsuki refused to do that the bitch had the audacity to command him. Katsuki’s stomach twists at the memory. He can still feel the ghostly words tug in his bones.
Fucking alphas, Katsuki thought bitterly, pulling the blind down on the window. Who fucking needs them?

Black goop burst forth from Bakugou’s mouth as he coughed and gagged. The hand that had reached for Eijirou’s slipped; fingertips brushed against his palm. Bakugou's cheeks flushed red, tears leaked from the corners of his eyes. He clawed at his throat as he fell out of the air towards the ground, out of Eijirou’s reach, until the black goop of the teleportation quirk consumed him. At the same time, the villains disappeared into the warp gate forced open by All for One on the ground. All hope for the future hero erased right before their eyes. Bakugou was gone, their rescue mission a failure, and Eijirou screamed.

I'm fucking blown away by this fic. Incredible writing. Amazing story. Complex metaphors that include real classics!!! The mutual obsession!!! And of course it's based off of a Mitski song. I just AAAA.
I love these little monsters and that they got their happy ending.There so many great lines, but I'll put this one as a reminder for my future self:

Awesome sci-fi x pirate au, I dig it
Really like Bakugou's character in this one. Also, there are so many worldbuilding details! Bakugou’s artificial cat, his veins, mining ships, a special code for conflicts in pubs, Mina's backstory, the whole robot thing that Tetsutetsu has going on (he's very cool). Oh, and the badass scene where Bakugou shows them all how smart he is with his mechanisms and traps. And that one line: "The man is silent, so silent, and Katsuki thanks Lord for looking out for him". It sounds perfect, considering it's his cat's name, but it also sounds like God is watching over him, which probably wasn't intentional, but nobody can proof that God isn't a cat -

Hanta was frozen in place. And Katsuki got a sick sort of satisfaction at seeing the smug bastard suddenly silenced.
“Because unlike some people,” Katsuki’s voice was stunningly level. “I actually give a fuck about what I bring into the world.”
Silence stretched between them for a second before Hanta pushed out a slow sigh. He tilted his head, thoughtful eyes meeting his. “Pot,” he said. “Meet kettle.”Or; Katsuki Bakugou built the rocket that carried his husband to another world, and has to live with what came home with him.

It was another day, and nothing had changed. Katsuki could see the sun rising through the crack of his bedroom curtains. He watched the sun and then returned his focus to the figure sleeping next to him. Katsuki smiled at Eijiro’s sleeping form, his hair falling over his face, and the steady rhythm of his chest set Katsuki’s mind at ease. His smile dimmed as he shook Eijiro awake.
