Summary
Alyssia—Aly to everyone who knows her—lives a perfectly ordinary life.Or at least, she thinks she does. When her best friend Mary convinces her to take a hiking trip through the Scottish Highlands, Aly expects breathtaking landscapes, terrible weather, and sore feet. What she doesn't expect is getting lost in the middle of nowhere and stumbling upon a cave that should not exist.
Inside waits a dragon.Ancient. Terrifying. Impossible. The creature engulfs her in dragonfire, and Aly is certain she is about to die.
Instead, she wakes up in a world of silver-haired kings, dragonriders, and looming civil war.
In the heart of House Targaryen. As strange visions begin to haunt her dreams and powers she never knew she possessed awaken within her, Aly discovers that she may be far more than an unfortunate traveler from another world.
Some call her a witch.Others call her a threat. And the dragons seem to know exactly who she is.

Summary
-
The silence in the car becomes unbearable.
“Hey kid,” Billy tries. “Where you from?”
“The future,” she replies.
Okay, so she doesn’t wanna talk. “Right, got it.”
Except he desperately needs something to distract him. “Like distant future, or…?”
“A year and a half,” she says. “Maybe more.”
“Damn,” he whistles. “Future any good?”
“No," she says. "Everyone dies.”
“Sounds rough.”
“Yes,” the girl agrees.
Doesn’t seem to be much of a talker, huh?
Playing along, he considers asking whether he dies as well. Being dead doesn’t sound too bad right now, but that’s probably not the thing you tell a ten-year old kid you just almost ran over.Bookmarked by OrangesxBlueberries

Summary
When the teacher turns away, Harrington sighs. Slouches in his seat. Tips his head back far enough that their eyes accidentally meet. It's not Harrington who looked away first. It almost never was. In the dream, though, Billy can look and look. And look, and look, and look. The devil doesn't mind about this part of him. Maybe appreciates how useful it is.

He has no one to share them with, and he's doing a good job at that until Billy Hargrove notices. Billy understands hiding pain because he does it to himself. When he looks at Steve, he recognises a familiar mask.
