Seongjae’s heart jumped in time with a swift dart of it to the side. In the corner of his vision, he saw a second soldier lean in. He must have whispered something amusing to the man who had rendered his breathing shallow, as the smirk ticked upwards.”
Or: Seongjae is trying his very best to keep to himself and the kitchen, when the system overlord forces him to raise his superior soldier’s likability level. The problem? It may be raising too quickly to make any sense. He’s not even trying.

"How come you always let Suho touch you but not the rest of us?" Baku was pouting at the end of his sentence, his shoulders slumped in an exaggerated display. From his place by Sieun's side, Suho stuck his tongue out.
Sieun opened his mouth to give a retort, something about how he and Suho just had a different kind of bond than Sieun had with the others, but before he could get a word out, Gotak had already latched onto Baku's arm as he dragged him and Juntae away, complaining about being tired and wanting to go to bed.
As they walked away, Sieun could see Baku turn back to him and Suho with wide eyes, before he whipped his head back to face Gotak, who was nodding at him.
