Lloyd didn’t know when he started feeling this way. Maybe it was when he used to growl at other kids his age in the Darkly’s boarding school for bad boys, maybe it was when he started collecting things he viewed as valuable, or maybe it was when he started subconsciously sleeping in a circle. Ultimately, it didn’t matter, what mattered was that Lloyd was now sat on his bedroom floor, sitting crisscross with his laptop in hand, leaning against the side of his bed. He had heard of this… therian thing in passing, but decided to do research on the topic. Lloyd didn’t know when he started feeling this way. There's one thing that sets him apart from all of those other losers, though: Gin-san is the protagonist of his story. There's no way he'll get fridged or killed off when he's the guy selling DVDs!!!
or: Gojo and Gintoki swap universes. It'd be a little concerning if the narration wasn't brushing past it like it was nothing but a device for comedy.

The ringing of an ejected shell shatters the last of his composure. Something inside crunches and cracks nastily, and then Gojo stops giving a damn. Stops giving a damn about Yaga's idiotic morals and the right to life. Stops giving a damn about everything rational, starting with his own power—boundless and all-consuming—and ending with his own weakness, his own mortality, the metal in his head, leaving only the anxious, bone-deep terrified "SuguruSuguruSuguruSuguru."

He hits the ground hard. His elbow slams ungracefully into the soil, and it sends a shot of pain up his arm that is entirely foreign. There is dirt stuck to the sweat at the nape of his neck. Unbelievable. The novelty of it is intoxicating.
Satoru blinks up from flat on his back, and Suguru is already there to meet him with his hand outstretched. He is hit, suddenly, with the novelty of this too. Suguru’s smile is crooked and small and smug, and he looks just as breathless as Satoru feels.
Suguru blocks out the world, filling up the entirety of Satoru’s vision. In the stretched-out second where neither of them move, he is more beautiful than the sun.
Or: Gojo Satoru has spent his whole life looking to be seen.
