Summary
Draco's always been a little obsessed with Harry Potter (who hasn't been? But honestly, Draco's pretty sure he's at the next level).
So, when they start sleeping together how could he have ever been expected to become less obsessed with Harry Potter? He's pretty sure that he's ready to turn over his entire life to the other man.
Not that he'd ever say that, because he certainly doesn't want to come off as desperate. And anyway, he's pretty sure that Harry is just in this for the casual sex.

Summary
Five years after the war, Draco Malfoy has fought everything and everyone to get to where he is. Sure, his mental health might be shit, but he has a job and that's something, right? He thought that having an Auror drop in for a surprise inspection of his Potions' lab was bad enough, but why is the Auror wearing a glamour? And why is the custom potion he wants so urgent and shrouded in secrecy? When people start dying, Draco gets consulted for a case with none other than Auror bloody Potter.
Aka a semi self-indulgent fic where Draco is a very smart, broken, soft boy and Harry is a big bad Auror who actually kind of has his shit together... maybe. Probably not. A lot of people want to cause problems for them. But Harry has a bit of a 'thing' for saving people. And Draco definitely needs saving. But progress isn't linear and it's much easier to heal when you aren't entirely alone.

"Harry sometimes felt that returning to Hogwarts was like stepping into an odd dream, where nothing was quite as you expected it to be. It had been strange enough, returning after a year spent on the run and being put into the first ever “eighth year” offered, for all the lost boys and girls, as Dean liked to put it, who’d had their education wrenched from them. But to have to share a common room with students who’d tried to murder him only a few months prior had really taken the cake in terms of strangeness, and to see them forming these odd sorts of friendships with HIS friends, was worse still. Malfoy still looked at Harry like he’d very much like to crush him with the bottom of his overpriced shoes, and Goyle was a downright terror, but other friendships had slowly sprung up between Slytherin students and the other houses."
Harry returns to Hogwarts, only to find Malfoy as irritating as ever. After an argument in the common room one night that turns into something more, Harry is left questioning just what Malfoy means to him.
